Rupert Sadler is a Managing Director at GCA focused on the technology subsectors of software, transaction processing, automotive technology and semiconductors. With more than 19 years’ experience advising companies across the globe on mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, Rupert has successfully completed more than $50 billion of M&A transactions and more than $20 billion in equity and debt financings. He has extensive expertise in cross-border M&A, having executed assignments for corporate and private equity clients in the US, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Prior to joining GCA, Rupert was a Managing Director in the Technology Investment Banking team at JP Morgan, where he worked for 11 years in London and New York, and also held the role of Head of EMEA Technology Investment Banking. Before JP Morgan, he spent eight years in the Telecoms, Media and Technology Group at NM Rothschild & Sons in London. Throughout his career, Rupert has advised many leading public and private companies from across the technology spectrum including Amadeus IT, Octo Telematics, Dealogic, Kuoni, Misys, Aspentech, Global Blue, CSR and Wolfson Microelectronics. He is a graduate in Management Studies from Cambridge University, UK and received an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.
