Uttara P. Marti is a Managing Director in the Firm’s Corporate Advisory business and is focused on advising clients in the healthcare services sector. At Evercore, Ms. Marti has advised on a number of transactions, including Envision Healthcare Corp. on its sale to KKR, Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc. on its merger with AmSurg Corp., Spire Capital Partners, LLC on the sale of its ownership stake in Professional Bull Riders, Inc., Ally Financial Inc. on the sale of its European and Latin American auto finance operations to General Motors, and AOL on the sale of the majority of its patent portfolio to Microsoft. Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Marti was an Associate at Galileo Global Advisors where she advised Taj Hotels on the acquisition of the Ritz-Carlton Boston. Ms. Marti received her S.B. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
