Tariq Khan is a Managing Director in Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory group. Prior to joining Evercore in 2017, Tariq was a Senior Investment Officer and Principal at KTR Capital Partners, a PE firm focused on the industrial real estate sector. Prior to KTR, Tariq was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and a Director at UBS Investment Bank where he focused on providing strategic advice to public and private real estate companies on M&A and capital markets transactions. At KTR, Tariq was responsible for investing $500MM of total capital in 11MM SF of assets across three fully discretionary closed-ended funds and was involved with the $5.9BN sale of KTR Capital Partners to Prologis. As a real estate banker, Tariq was involved with $16BN of advisory and capital markets transactions across the hospitality, industrial, office, retail, data center and biomedical sectors. Tariq graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
