Rafael Polanco is a Senior Managing Director in Evercore’s Strategic Advisory business. He focuses on advising on the sale of minority and control stakes in alternative asset management firms. At Evercore, Mr. Polanco has advised firms such as Vista Equity, Starwood Capital Group, HIG Capital, Silver Lake, Leonard Green & Partners, Platinum Equity, New Mountain Capital, Francisco Partners, Bridgepoint, BC Partners, Nordic Capital and I Squared Capital, among others. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Polanco worked in the Investment Banking group at Credit Suisse First Boston where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the technology industry. Mr. Polanco received a B.S. in Biology and a B.E. in Environmental Engineering from the Dual Degree Program in Science and Engineering at New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology. He serves as a Co-Chairperson of the Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Science at New York University.
