Naveen Nataraj is a Senior Managing Director of Evercore’s corporate advisory business. At Evercore, Mr. Nataraj has advised technology and telecom clients in transactions totaling over $350 billion in value, including advising on 4 of the 5 largest technology transactions of all time – Qualcomm in its pending acquisition of NXP, Broadcom in its sale to Avago, EMC in its sale to Dell and Dell in its sale to Michael Dell and Silverlake. Other recent notable transactions include advising Samsung in its pending acquisition of Harman, Brocade in its pending sale to Broadcom, Siris Capital in its acquisition of Polycom, Arris in its acquisitions of Pace and Motorola Home, Nokia in the sale of its HERE mapping division to an auto consortium, Tekelec in its sale to Oracle, Ericsson in its acquisition of Telcordia, AOL in the sale of its patents to Microsoft, Intel in its acquisition of Infineon’s Wireless Solutions business, Nuance in multiple acquisitions, ACS in its sale to Xerox, AT&T in its acquisition of Bellsouth, EDS in its sale to HP, TWCable in its spin?off from Time Warner, Scientific?Atlanta in its sale to Cisco, among others. Mr. Nataraj was named one of the IDD Forty Under Forty Deal Makers in 2011, and Fortune Magazine’s 2011 40 under 40 Rising Stars of Business. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Nataraj was a founding Partner at Saturn Venture Partners, a Telecom Italia sponsored venture capital fund. Prior to Saturn, Mr. Nataraj was a Vice President at Sandler Capital, a $2.5 billion communications focused investment management firm where he was responsible for principal investing in public securities, private equity and venture capital opportunities. Previously, Mr. Nataraj was a Financial Analyst at Bear, Stearns and Co. Inc. Mr. Nataraj graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Economics.
