Dimitrios Georgiou is a Senior Managing Director focused on the Industrials and Services sector in Europe. He has been a trusted advisor to a broad range of clients in the Capital Goods, Building Products, Construction and Business Services sectors for over 30 years. He has advised a broad range of corporate clients, both quoted and public, on many notable domestic and cross-border M+A transactions as well as Debt and Equity Capital Markets issuance. He has also advised private equity clients on a large number of acquisitions, investments and exits. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Georgiou was at Citigroup for 14 years where he was Co-Head of European Industrials and Global Head of Services and at RBC Capital Markets for 2 years where he was Head of European Industrials and Services. Before his career in investment banking, Mr. Georgiou spent 8 years at Arthur Andersen working in their business restructuring / insolvency, consulting and audit divisions. Mr. Georgiou graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1989 with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Accountancy, as well being jointly awarded the Arthur Young Medal for most distinguished student. He was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and remains a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
