Brent Banks is a managing director in Evercore’s Restructuring and Debt Advisory Group. Mr. Banks has worked on numerous restructuring assignments, advising companies, creditors and other parties on refinancings, exchange offers, amendments, out-of-court restructurings, chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, and distressed mergers and acquisitions. He has also been involved in numerous DIP and exit financings for companies in chapter 11 and several “rescue” financings for distressed clients. Notable client engagements include work for Alion Science & Technology, Boart Longyear, Catalina Marketing, Frontier Communications, Jupiter Resources, IPC, Neuberger Berman, SunEdison, Ultra Petroleum and W.R. Grace. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Banks worked as a vice president in Goldman Sachs’ restructuring finance and advisory group. Mr. Banks, who is a chartered financial analyst, earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accountancy from Wake Forest University.
