Tony Magro is a Senior Managing Director of Evercore’s corporate advisory business where he focuses on providing strategic and financial advice to industrial companies. Mr. Magro has over 30 years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining Evercore in 2011, Mr. Magro was a Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he previously served as global head of three investment banking groups: Mergers & Acquisitions, Industrials, and Natural Resources. Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Magro was a Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns where he served as Global Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Head of Consumer Products. Mr. Magro graduated from Dartmouth College, where he currently serves on the President’s Leadership Council and the board of The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding. Mr. Magro also currently serves on the International Advisory Board of EDHEC Business School, a leading French business school. He was previously a Director of WhiteWave Foods (NYSE: WWAV; acquired by Danone in 2017), and a Director of the French-American School of New York.
