Anthony Laubi is a Senior Managing Director of the firm’s strategic advisory business, based in London. Prior to joining Evercore, Anthony Laubi was a Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking and Capital Markets division for the EMEA region and with specific responsibility for its Pulp, Paper and Packaging Investment Banking franchise. Anthony joined Credit Suisse in December 2008 after 18 years at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. In his years at Deutsche he was responsible for the Industrials Corporate Advisory team in the EMEA region. Anthony has been engaged in a wide range of domestic and cross-border corporate finance transactions, encompassing public and private M&A transactions, restructurings and debt and equity fund raisings involving both corporate and private equity clients. Recent transactions on which he has advised include the pending acquisition of TricorBraun by funds advised by Ares Management and the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, the pending sale by Advent of Faerch to AP Moller, Mayr-Melnhof Karton’s acquisition of Kotka, Madison Dearborn’s acquisition of IPL Plastics and the restructuring of Lecta.
