Andy Richard is a senior managing director in the firm’s corporate advisory business. He focuses on clients in the real estate sector, including real estate investment trusts (REITs), financial sponsors and real estate operating companies. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Richard was a managing director at Credit Suisse, where he was head of U.S. REITs. Before that, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 10 years—including four years in London as head of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) real estate. Mr. Richard has originated and completed strategic and financing transactions for a broad range of leading real estate clients globally, including Amherst Residential, Annaly Capital Management, Avison Young, BrightSpire Capital, Cadillac Fairview, Cerberus Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield, Fundamental Income, GGP, Granite Point Mortgage Trust, Howard Hughes Corp., Invitation Homes, Lineage Logistics, Prologis, Realogy, The Rouse Company, SITE Centers, Spirit Realty, Starwood Property Trust, STORE Capital, TPG Real Estate, Unibail-Rodamco, UDR, and VEREIT. Mr. Richard earned an A.B. in English with honors from Stanford University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
