Bio

Craig England, the founder of England & Company, is an investment banker with over 30 years of experience in M&A advisory, financial restructuring services, and private finance. Prior to forming England & Company, Mr. England was a Principal in Legg Mason's Investment Banking Group where he concentrated on software and financial services companies. Prior to Legg Mason, he was a Vice President with Alex. Brown & Sons in New York and Baltimore where he led the firm's Asset Securitization Group. Additionally, Mr. England served as a Vice President and private placement specialist at New York City-based Hunter, Keith, Marshall & Co., and Corporate Finance Director for ICON Capital Corp. He began his career as a corporate lender in the financial institutions groups of the Irving Trust Company (now the Bank of New York) and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Mr. England earned his BA from the Johns Hopkins University, completed studies in International Economics at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles and received his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
