Michael Many is a director in Duff & Phelps’ Transaction Advisory Services practice. Based in Chicago, he has over eight years of industry and corporate finance experience, including over six years of M&A transaction experience. Michael has advised on domestic and international transactions, as well as transactions for both private equity and strategic buyers, primarily within the healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, fintech and industrial products sectors. Michael’s responsibilities have included planning; execution and management of buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements; identification and defining of general industry and transaction specific deal issues; creation and analysis of cash to accrual; pro-forma and run-rate analyses; and analysis of complex accounting issues. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Michael spent two years with Deloitte & Touche, LLP providing accounting, audit and assurance services, where his primary client was Hyatt Hotels Corporate (real estate and hospitality). Michael also has experience in the diversified manufacturing and insurance industries. Michael achieved his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master’s in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois.
