Monette Stephens is a Managing Director at DelMorgan & Co. She is an international banking, business, and corporate development specialist, with over 20 years of experience. Ms. Stephens is an executive-level international strategist experienced in corporate development, partnerships, marketing and technology for companies, brokerages and financial institutions. She has expertise in increasing corporate value and revenue, developing go-to-market strategies and execution, growth, partnerships, M&A and private placements. Ms. Stephens’ areas of focus include technology, banking and capital markets, crypto/blockchain, DLT, digital securities, AI/ML, VR and platforms offering global digital issuances. Her interests are in global financial issuances, KYC/AML, privacy, localization, accreditation, tokenized issuances, digital securities, financial policies, and related banking and technology. Her expertise extends across M&A, Private Placement, Sales and Partnerships. She specializes in developing strategies to increase corporate value and revenue via partnerships and sales, developing global growth, and GTM strategies. As a technologist and entrepreneur, she has worked with companies and products from launch and funding through exit (M&A, public offerings) across multiple technology sectors, including Telcom, Fintech, Crypto/Defi, Security/Privacy, AI/ML and VR/AR. Combining Capital Markets and Distributed Ledger/Blockchain technologies, Ms. Stephens has been instrumental in bringing Globally Compliant Digital Token Issuances (Reg D, Reg S, Reg A+ debt, asset, equity-backed) to market. Previously, she was a co-founder and Managing Director of a broker/dealer focused on M&A and private placements. Ms. Stephens has a proven track record in sales and business development and has served as an executive, board member, advisor, speaker, lecturer, expert consultant/witness, computer scientist, banker and corporate strategist. Ms. Stephens has close relationships with international IP and securities law firms, tax consultants and management firms. She has provided expert witness and analysis to antitrust, IP, copyright and trade-secret litigation. An experienced speaker, panelist and lecturer, Ms. Stephens has created and taught educational courses for academic institutions and companies, including the University of California at Santa Barbara, the U.S. Navy and Microsoft. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
