Bob Welch is Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets for David A. Noyes & Company, an investment bank since 1908 with primary offices in Chicago and Indianapolis. Welch established the Capital Markets Group of Noyes, which provides sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to middle market companies (enterprise values ranging between $25 million and $500 million) in many industries, including manufacturing, distribution, facilities services, medical, agriculture, and business services. In addition, the Capital Markets Group provides growth capital advisory and placement services to middle market companies in the Midwest. In the past, Welch founded and for 14 years headed up the Corporate Finance Division of City Securities Corporation (an Indiana investment bank), re-engineered and headed the Indiana Housing Finance Authority (a $1 billion quasi-non-governmental bank), and worked in the finance areas of Continental Bank in Chicago and Delta Faucet Company in Indianapolis. Welch received his MBA from Indiana University and his bachelor’s degree in business (finance) from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a walk-on football player. He grew up in Indianapolis and is active in many local organizations, including business-related and community-related (including the boards of Cathedral High School (Investment Committee Chair), the IAC Sports Foundation (Chair), the Indiana Public Employee Retirement Fund, and the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (past Chair)). Welch received his MBA from Indiana University and his bachelor’s degree in business (finance) from the University of Notre Dame.
