Mr. Toomey began his career in finance at Bank of America in 1984. His career has encompassed both corporate and investment banking. Mr. Toomey has extensive corporate finance expertise ranging from senior debt to sophisticated high yield debt financings to private & public equity transactions. He is well equipped to assist middle market companies having spent almost 25 years providing unique financial solutions to clients in this sector. Prior to founding DANU Capital Group Mr. Toomey was a principal and headed the Merchant Banking practice at the firm of Ballenger, Cleveland & Issa. Prior to BCI, Toomey was a Principal in the corporate finance group at Roth Capital Partners. Prior to Roth, Mr. Toomey was a Senior Vice President at a NYSE traded Bank, where he ran one of Bank's Corporate Banking Groups as well as the Bank’s leveraged debt fund. During his 15 years in corporate banking, Mr. Toomey worked with corporate accounts, emerging markets and middle market companies in industry segments such as apparel, specialty retailing, technology, agri-business, manufacturing and distribution. He has held a variety of senior lending positions at the Sumitomo-Mitsui Banking Group, Union Bank and Bank of America. Mr. Toomey received his B.S. at California State University, San Luis Obispo. Mr. Toomey has seven other family members who also attended Cal Poly, SLO.Mr. Toomey has assembled a team of seasoned and high integrity corporate finance professionals who bring the full force of their many years in the Capital Markets to bear on DANU's clients behalf.
