Michael Wildish is a Managing Director and Head of Cowen’s Mergers and Acquisitions group. Mr. Wildish has provided strategic advice to public and private companies for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions, capital raising, take private transactions and restructurings. Immediately prior to joining Cowen, Mr. Wildish was a Managing Principal at Corporate Partners, a private equity fund. Before that, Mr. Wildish was with Miller Buckfire as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and GE Capital Market Services as the Leader of Global New Product Introduction and Capital Management. He spent several years at Credit Suisse First Boston as the Head of Media Mergers & Acquisitions and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as the Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to that, he was a General Partner at Lazard Frères and began his career at Goldman, Sachs. Mr. Wildish received a BS in Commerce with Distinction from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
