Founding and managing partner at Clairfield Brazil (Ártica), Luiz Penno has more than 15 years of experience in M&A, fundraising, and corporate finance, in a broad number of sectors, including financial services, healthcare, retail, technology, real estate, agribusiness, and oil & gas. Prior to founding Ártica, Luiz was a co-founder of Advisia Investimentos and an engagement manager of the corporate finance practice at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on deals in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. He also worked in the M&A area at Banco Fator and as a consultant at Value Partners. Luiz has a master’s degree in finance and economics with distinction from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
