Mr. Nazif has substantial professional experience in mergers and acquisitions and has been a lead banker on key transactions in the healthcare, retail, specialty insurance, consumer and technology sectors. Prior to joining CapM, Mr. Nazif was a Business Analyst in the New York office of Texture, a digital magazine subscription platform based in Menlo Park, CA and backed by KKR, Condé Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., Rogers Communications and Time Inc. Texture was acquired by Apple and now constitutes the core of the Apple News product. While at Next Issue, Mr. Nazif was responsible for all aspects of analysis and business reporting of key performance indicators, revenue forecasting and financial modelling, reporting directly to the executive management committee. He was also involved in structuring the largest and most recent capital raise of the company from KKR, as well as providing structuring and analytical support leading to a partnership in Canada with Rogers Communications. Mr. Nazif started his career in mergers and acquisitions where he focused on the media, consumer and retail sectors.
