Bio

Prior to co-founding Broadhaven, Greg Phillips spent the previous 15 years as an advisor, operator and principal investor focused on the financial services and technology sectors. He was mergers and acquisitions professional with UBS Investment Bank and Wasserstein Perella & Co. where he advised on over $40 billion in completed M&A transactions. As an investment banker, Mr. Phillips advised asset managers, stock and derivative exchanges, brokers, and trading technology companies. He was later an executive with R.J. O’Brien & Associates, the oldest and largest independent futures brokerage and clearing firm in the United States. Mr. Phillips was also previously employed at Citadel Investment Group and MII, an activist investor in emerging technology companies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
