Russell joined Bailey Southwell in 2018 and co-leads the firm’s healthcare services practice, advising clients in several sectors including multi-site provider groups, physician practice management, behavioral healthcare, home care, home and community-based services, pediatric services, and chronic disease management, among others. With more than 25 years of investment banking experience, Russell has completed M&A and financing transactions whose aggregate value exceeds $3.5 billion. With that experience comes granular knowledge on key industry challenges including how to position high-growth healthcare services companies and providers, how to anticipate and address regulatory complexities, and the opportunities and challenges faced by information technology and other tech services firms serving healthcare providers. Russell’s extensive advisory work on behalf of healthcare providers and related services business also has led to advisory engagements in revenue cycle management and other aspects of healthcare management and to work on behalf of tech-enabled businesses that are healthcare-adjacent. Russell also has advisory experience in business services and advises a privately-held global manufacturing company on its North American acquisitions and financings. Prior to joining Bailey Southwell, Russell was a managing director at Brookwood Associates. He began his career in investment banking with Bank of America. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Russell holds his Series 7, 79, 24 and 63 securities registrations and is registered with StillPoint Capital, member FINRA/SIPC.
