Jeff co-founded Bailey Southwell, along with Jack Bailey, to create a differentiated middle market investment bank with the primary goal to foster exemplary client outcomes based on trust, hard-work and sector expertise, not paybacks or quid pro quos. With over $2 billion of M&A and financial services transaction value, Jeff’s focus and depth of experience in the healthcare technology and tech-enabled services sectors brings an unparalleled understanding of the complexities, valuation drivers and active buyers and investors that make all the difference in a transaction for BSC clients. With over 19 years of middle market investment banking experience, Jeff has worked on over 35 sell-side, buy-side, financings and valuations for both public and private companies over the course of his career. Additionally, Jeff has worked in several Senior Executive Finance positions, including an instrumental role in the formation of Cumberland Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:CPIX), a specialty pharma company based in Nashville. He has represented numerous successful transactions with industry players such as HealthStream, Hearst, Gartner, Harris Corp, Francisco Partners, KKR, Apax, Pamlico and others. He was previously an Investment Banker at SunTrust Equitable Securities (SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) where he worked with the debt capital market and investment banking groups. He holds a BS in Economics and a MBA from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Bailey holds his Series 79, 62, and 63 securities registrations and is registered with StillPoint Capital, member FINRA/SIPC.
