Mr. Muhammad Azfar is a Managing Partner at Auctus Group, Inc. and oversees the firm’s investment banking activities. He, along with the rest of management, is responsible for the strategic vision and overall direction of the firm. Over the last decade, Mr. Azfar has been directly involved in over fifty financing and M&A assignments totaling over $1 Billion across a number of different industry sectors including Technology, Healthcare and Industrials. Mr. Azfar began his career in 2003 as a Research Analyst at Advisory and Intermediary Services, LLC in Chicago. In 2005, Mr. Azfar joined Houlihan Smith & Company, where he held a number of positions, including Senior Associate, Vice President and Associate Director. During his tenure at Houlihan Smith, Mr. Azfar was an integral part of the firm’s impressive growth from 7 employees in 2005, to more than a 150 in 2010, and received numerous awards for his outstanding achievements. Prior to establishing the Auctus Group, Inc., Mr. Azfar served was Managing Director and Partner at a global investment banking boutique MSC Advisors. Mr. Azfar completed his undergraduate studies at University of Minnesota and DeVry University in Chicago and is a 2017 MBA Candidate at the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. Mr. Azfar is a Founding member of Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Chicago Chapter. Mr. Azfar is also an active member of the Big Shoulders Fund, and junior board member at Urban Initiatives, Chicago based non-profits focused on supporting young children in inner city underprivileged schools. He’s an avid automotive enthusiast and spends his free time reading, traveling and boating.
