Bio

Mr. Roesler is a Co-Founder and Partner of Angle Advisors and has 28 years of investment banking experience. As a degreed engineer, Mr. Roesler’s unique background combines manufacturing process and engineering know-how with financial and accounting experience. Mr. Roesler’s projects generally emphasize products or processes where a unique technical aspect, proprietary know-how, or highly engineered products are involved. He is also active with companies whose value-added distribution type products and business models combine domestic engineering with virtual manufacturing to serve the vehicular, industrial, and consumer product industries. Mr. Roesler is a co-inventor of Angle’s unique “Sponsored Management Buyout” methodology and co-originator of the Fireside Chat® process used to selectively qualify buyer candidates. Having completed over 140 transactions during his career, Mr. Roesler has experience on both domestic and cross-border transactions ranging from corporate carve-outs to private company sales. Mr. Roesler also oversees projects co-executed through Angle’s offices in Germany and China. Some of Mr. Roesler’s notable recent transactions include U.S. Farathane, Radar Industries, Sloan Transportation Products, Packaging Concepts & Design, Fluid Routing Solutions, and BorgWarner’s TPMS Business. Mr. Roesler has worked on transactions in 26 countries around the world, including in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. Projects include work in electronics, cast and machined products, chemicals, stamping, powder metal, and systems or components encompassing virtually every part or manufacturing process used in support of passenger and commercial vehicles. Mr. Roesler began his career in the transportation industry, working on the post-merger integration of CSX Railroad followed by projects with Florida East Coast Railway, BNSF, Metro North, Greenwood Motor Lines and Jones Transfer. He has also worked for W.Y. Campbell & Company (a US-based investment bank), Pricewaterhouse Coopers (due diligence, valuation and corporate finance), US Strategic Missile Command on its Bush-era Mobile Rail Garrison project, and Arbor Vista LLC (private-equity group specializing in middle market turnarounds and small cap acquisitions). Mr. Roesler is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he earned a B.A., M.B.A. and M.S.E. (Master of Engineering).
