Bio

Olle Lundqvist is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Hamburg, Germany. In this role, he focuses on the Nordic market. Mr. Lundqvist brings more than 20 years of experience in performance improvement and operational restructuring of companies. His primary areas of concentration are operational due diligence, post-acquisition value creation, carve-outs, post-merger integration, and restructuring. Mr. Lundqvist has worked on a global basis across a wide range of industries, including business services, distribution and logistics, industrial products manufacturing and services, packaging and paper, travel and leisure, aircraft maintenance and services, consumer goods and private label products, construction materials manufacturing and distribution, automotive, chemical manufacturing and distribution, and large infrastructure projects.​ Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lundqvist spent five years with Platinum Equity Advisors, where he most recently served as a Senior Vice President M&A Operations in London. He headed Platinum’s M&A Operations work for the main fund ($6.5 billion USD) in Europe. He led the operational due diligence work, developed value creation programs and carve-out work, and appraised commercial aspects of potential acquisitions. Mr. Lundqvist has been involved in successful acquisitions across many industries and has worked on more than 100 operational due diligences. ​Previously, Mr. Lundqvist worked for AlixPartners in Munich as a Senior Director in the Turnaround & Restructuring Services group, where he led a wide range of projects covering restructuring, turnaround and merger integration. Before that, he was a Senior Project Manager with Roland Berger Strategy Consultant in the Restructuring Practice in Berlin. ​Mr. Lundqvist earned a degree in business administration from the University of Lund.
