Bio

Wolfram Schmerl is a Managing Partner and Chairman of Alantra Germany, which he co-founded in 2013. He is member of the global executive management committee of Alantra’s investment banking division. Mr. Schmerl gained more than 27 years of experience in Corporate Finance and M&A with Hauck & Aufhäuser, Sal. Oppenheim and Price Waterhouse. He advised on more than 90 completed transactions in various industries (amongst others mechanical engineering, automotive, business services, value-added distribution, building materials and technology, healthcare) with an accumulated transaction value of more than EUR 18bn. Mr. Schmerl holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Bamberg.
