Hoong Wey is a partner at Alantra and leads the UK Real Estate and Hospitality team. He has over 20 years of experience in the sector and has completed more than £5bn of real estate and hospitality transactions in the past decade. Prior to joining Alantra, Hoong Wey was co-head of KPMG’s real estate corporate finance division, building up a team of over 20 people working across all mainstream real estate, as well as alternative asset classes, to deliver M&A and portfolio transactions, equity and debt capital raises, and strategic advice. Hoong Wey has also held positions at William Pears Group, where he was investment director for property, and Aviva Investors, where he was a director and fund manager responsible of managing over £2bn of property assets. Hoong Wey started his career at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking and holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Warwick.
