Bio

Andrés joined Alantra in 2021. He has close to 20 years of experience in M&A and is currently a Partner in Alantra’s investment banking team and responsible for covering financial institutions (FIG) in Europe. Andrés started his career in 2001 at PwC in London and Latam in the M&A team. He then settled in Madrid where he was a partner at KPMG Corporate Finance and subsequently served for 5 years as Partner responsible for the financial institutions at Arcano. He has participated in more than 50 transactions in Europe and Latin America, having advised banks, financial insurers, private equity funds, service companies, FinTech and other companies in the financial sector ecosystem in various corporate transactions. Andrés holds an MSc. in Industrial Engineering (Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá) and an MSc. in Finance (London School of Economics, London).
