Nate Hennings is a Partner at AGC’s San Francisco office, where he focuses on internet, software, and gaming. Nate brings over 17 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, and growth equity to AGC, and has advised on more than 50 M&A, equity, and debt transactions. He previously led the gaming practice at Truist Securities, advising clients such as Activision Blizzard, Jam City, and Envy Gaming. Nate’s experience extends to the broader internet and software ecosystems, where he has advised clients such as Cision, Magento, Mediaocean, Guidewire, TIBCO, LegalZoom, and YP. Prior to Truist, Nate honed his M&A craft at Union Square Advisors, ThinkEquity, and Seven Hills Partners. He also spent time in VC & PE at Gabriel Venture Partners and Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, where he participated in over a dozen financings as an investor. Two of his passions are fine wine and video games. He tries to keep his palate sharp as a Level II Certified Sommelier, having secured the designation in 2008. As a lifelong gamer, Nate stays up-to-date on the latest games and maintains a Gold ranking in all three roles of competitive Overwatch. Nate lives in San Francisco with his wife, Nora. Nate holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, where he also minored in Economics.
