Chan Sing Yee Bio

CHAN Sing Yee is the Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and a Partner in the Private Equity Practice. Her main areas of practice are local and cross border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, privatisations, and general corporate and commercial transactions and advisory work. With over 20 years of legal experience under her belt, Sing Yee has a track record in managing complex, high-value and landmark corporate transactions. Clients described her as a "rigorous and commercial lawyer who is quick and agile " and that she "goes the extra mile for clients". She has been praised as a "very thorough M&A counsel, measured in negotiations and practical in her approach". Sing Yee sits on the Programme & Services Committee of the Shared Services for Charities Limited (“SSC”), a registered charity and a full member of the National Council of Social Service in Singapore where she contributes her views on the various programmes and services rolled out by the SSC to charities in Singapore to enhance governance standards of charities in achieving organisational excellence.
