Anna Rizova Bio

Anna Rizova is the Managing Partner of the firm’s office in Bulgaria. She specializes in regulatory and commercial matters in the energy and telecommunication sectors. Her extensive expertise covers a broad range of energy matters including licensing and tariffs formation, grid connection, financial incentives, retail supply and risk assessment in the case of non-compliance. Anna has led a number of public procurement projects and has advised key stakeholders, sponsors and developers on energy and infrastructure projects, including leading a multinational cross-border gas transportation pipeline project. Her energy career started as a legal consultant to Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) where she actively participated in the structuring, negotiations, finalizing and the ongoing administering of a modernization project.
