Bio

Conor Reidy has represented major U.S. and multinational clients in litigations nationwide with a focus on antitrust litigations. He has also assisted clients in obtaining antitrust clearances for transactions before both the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC), including Fortune 500 companies across many industries. Conor has represented clients in litigations brought around the country at all stages of litigation, including jury and bench trials and appeals. He has experience with multi-district litigations, class actions, and appeals in federal and state courts. In addition to his experience with complex contractual disputes, ERISA, and other matters, he has significant experience representing clients in antitrust litigations concerning numerous issues, including allegations of price fixing, supply restrictions, collusive standard setting, unlawful mergers, and monopolization. Conor routinely provides antitrust counseling concerning mergers and acquisitions. He has helped clients obtain antitrust approval for transactions before both the DOJ and FTC, including representing a Fortune 500 company in a US$27B transaction before the FTC involving the second and third largest competitors in the United States, representing a Fortune 15 client before the FTC in its US$2.1B acquisition of a medical-surgical supplies distributor, and representing a mobile advertising client before the FTC as part of its US$750M sale to Google. Conor also frequently shepherds clients through the Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust merger review process and assists clients in coordinating clearances of transactions from multiple foreign competition authorities. Conor provides clients with antitrust compliance counseling and training, including developing new antitrust policies and training materials. In addition, he has counseled clients with regard to numerous potential competition issues arising in the operation of their businesses, including potential pricing, vertical restraints, tying, standard setting, and interlocking directorates issues.
