Michelle Nicole Diamond practice focuses on a range of matters at the intersection of law, business and government policy, including sensitive internal investigations, compliance, litigation and high-stakes crisis situations that garner the attention of regulators, enforcement authorities, Congress and private litigants. Her substantive expertise includes artificial intelligence development and oversight, anti-discrimination laws, US money-laundering laws, and the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape of controlled substances (e.g., cannabis and psychedelics). She has extensive experience conducting workplace culture reviews; investigating allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation; litigating sensitive matters through evidentiary hearings and/or trial; and advising companies on how to create and implement effective compliance programs. She has worked with companies in a variety of sectors, including technology, financial services, nonprofit, healthcare and transportation. Ms. Diamond also dedicates significant time to her pro bono practice, which focuses on reproductive rights. She has litigated on behalf of Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union in federal and state courts across the country, serving as lead counsel at trial and on appeal
