Andrew White has represented emerging growth and middle-market companies for over 20 years, both in a general counsel capacity and in all manner of transactions, including venture capital and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and entity conversions. Much of Andrew’s work involves technology companies, including software, information technology, financial services, biotech, pharmaceutical and health care services companies. He also represents nonprofit organizations, including private foundations and public charities, as well as benefit corporations. Andrew is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© for Corporate Governance Law (2016-present), and, in 2019, he was named the Best Lawyers® 2019 Richmond Corporate Governance “Lawyer of the Year.” He has also been named among Virginia’s “Legal Elite” for Corporate Counsel (2016-2017). Andrew is a former president of Venture Forum RVA, the Richmond-based networking community for innovators, entrepreneurs and capital providers. He is a former chairman of the Business Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. He speaks frequently on topics related to emerging growth companies and LLCs. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia, and he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Washington & Lee University.
