Brian Duffy is a Partner with William Fry Tax/Taxand Ireland. He has over fifteen years' experience advising clients in tax litigation and controversy matters, tax structuring, inward investment, tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions, real estate tax transactions, personal taxation and the taxation of trusts and estates matters. He provides taxation advice to a broad base of clients in various business sectors, including family offices, real estate, insurance, hotels and tourism, mobile telecommunications, venture capital groups, radio and television, private equity and hedge funds. He advises clients in dealings with tax authorities, tax litigation matters and the preparation of cases before the Tax Appeals Commission and the High Court. Brian is a member of the Law Society of Ireland, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Irish Taxation Institute and has contributed to many publications.
