Ian Sherburn is head of the firm's corporate and commercial department and is based in Grimsby. He joined the firm in 2000 having spent the previous seven years working in the City of London. Ian leads the Grimsby Corporate and Commercial team and has over thirty years’ experience advising on both Corporate and Commercial matters such as M&As, MBOs, refinancing, corporate re-organisations and commercial contracts. Ian’s main expertise is on high value corporate M&A transactions and Ian has led the Grimsby team in a number of transactions valued at over £100 million. He has a reputation as the go to partner in the Lincolnshire region for corporate and commercial matters, and is known for 'getting the deal done’. He has a number of core client relationships with well-known national and international clients in the petro-chemical, retail insurance and manufacturing industries which are based in the United Kingdom and Europe, including sitting on the executive panel of a national food wholesale company and regularly provides commercial advice across a broad spectrum of commercial contracts.
