Stephen Albert is viewed by his clients as both a transactional lawyer and a trusted advisor to whom they can turn for counseling on legal and business issues. Steve’s extensive transactional experience includes representing private and public companies and individuals. His transactional work includes mergers and acquisitions, both on the buying and selling side; joint ventures; reorganizations; and financing transactions and agreements, including limited liability company, stockholder, employment, distribution, services, and license agreements. In his role as counselor, Steve provides practical and cost-sensitive advice with a view toward solving problems when they arise and resolving potential problems before they arise. Steve has represented distribution, manufacturing, and service-focused companies ranging from startups to multibillion-dollar public corporations. His clients have included distributors of healthcare, food, promotional products, and construction supplies; manufacturers of textiles and steel products; and providers of transportation, document management, security systems, and environmental auditing services.
