Bio

Troy Pocaluyko is a partner practising corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance and corporate governance mandates. Representing a number of public and private companies in a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, food and consumer goods, technology and natural resources, Troy seeks to provide pragmatic advice to clients after developing a thorough understanding of their industry and objectives. Troy is a member of the firm’s M&A Practice Group and Opinions Committee, and also sits on the board of directors and Governance, Nomination, Compensation & Human Resource Committee of the National Diabetes Trust. Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Troy was a lawyer at a full-service Bay Street law firm and seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission where he worked in the Corporate Finance Branch. Troy has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2024 for his work in Mergers and Acquisitions Law, Securities Law and Venture Capital Law and as one of Canada’s leading practitioners for Corporate Mid-Market and Corporate Finance &Securities in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory 2023 and recognized in 2024 Chambers Canada guide for Corporate/Commercial: Highly Regarded in Ontario. When not at his desk, Troy likes to keep active and can often be found on a golf course (usually making bogeys), on a ski or mountain biking trail, at a hockey or curling rink or occasionally running a marathon. Troy also enjoys travelling with his wife Tracey including visiting their daughter in B.C. and son in Norway. As an avid sports enthusiast, Troy is a die-hard fan of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Bills and looks forward to seeing at least one of them win a championship during his lifetime.
