Nick Gray is a partner at the firm and practises primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, asset management, securities, corporate and commercial and corporate finance. He has acted for clients on a variety of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions by public and private issuers, private and public company financings, the establishment and operation of investment funds and pools of capital. Nick is very active within the firm and is a member of the firm’s Technology Committee, Student Committee, and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. Nick joined the firm as a summer student in 2009 and completed his articles with the firm in 2011. He obtained both his LL.B. and B.Comm (Finance) from the University of Ottawa. While at law school, Nick was the recipient of the Tax Executives Institute Prize for highest standing in international taxation and the Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP Prize for highest standing in advanced taxation. Nick has continued to pursue his interest in capital markets and investment management, having earned the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
