Paul Berg Bio

Paul Berg focuses his practice on civil litigation, serious personal injury, product liability, complex business disputes, construction claims, and wrongful death. A lifelong resident of Florida, Paul is board-certified as a specialist by The Florida Bar in both Business Litigation and Civil Trial Law. Paul maintains an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. For the last 16 years, Paul has been selected as a Super Lawyer, a distinction given to only 5% of Florida attorneys. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, Paul owned and ran three restaurants before attending Florida State University College of Law. He was awarded his J.D. with Honors in 1991. During law school, he served an internship with the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court and was a member of the Mock Trial Team. Highly regarded by his peers, Paul has served as President of the Indian River County Bar Association, Chairman of the Business Litigation Certification Committee of The Florida Bar, Chairman of the Florida Bar’s Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims as well as a member of the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee of The Florida Bar.
