Dominique Arteiro is a Director in the Competition, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and Healthcare & Life Sciences practice areas. His areas of specialisation include obtaining of approval for mergers and takeovers from the competition authorities, lodging and responding to complaints of alleged anti-competitive conduct, preparing applications for leniency and for exemption from the provisions of the Competition Act. Dominique also specialises in conducting compliance audits and developing compliance programmes, responding to summonses from the competition authorities, and search and seizure operations (dawn raids), performing competition law training, and representing firms in market inquiries conducted in terms of the Competition Act. Dominique is proficient on the impact assessment studies, strategy documents and guidelines issued by the Competition Commission from time to time.
