Dominik Bürgy specializes in national and international tax law. His focus is on cross-border structural consulting, succession planning, and structuring of SMEs, mergers and acquisitions, including Employee Share Ownership Plans (ESOP) and their corporate tax aspects, establishment of businesses and settlement of high-net-worth individuals, as well as advising entrepreneurs, wealthy private individuals, and family-owned businesses. His clients include listed and privately held companies, high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, senior executives of global and national companies, and family-owned businesses. Before joining Wenger & Vieli Ltd., Dominik Bürgy worked for Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, respectively, for over 25 years: from 2008 to 2016 as a member of EY Switzerland's management board and from 2009 to 2012 as Managing Partner Tax & Legal EY Switzerland. From 2011 to 2018, Dominik Bürgy also served as the President of EXPERTsuisse, from 2012 to 2018 as a member of the board of directors of Economiesuisse, and from 2013 to 2018 as a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Employer's Association.
