Sylvain Rouleau practises in a broad range of litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on municipal and administrative law. Sylvain practices in both English and French for hearings before the Court of Appeal of Ontario, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Superior Court, the Supreme Court and several Administrative Boards and Tribunals. Sylvain is a judge for the Laskin Moot Competition, a yearly administrative and constitutional law moot. In 2009, as a law student, he was recognized as one of the top 25 participants in the Laskin moot. He also received a Canadian Heritage Bursary awarded yearly to law students for his exceptional academic achievement. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Sylvain practised at national full service law firm in Toronto. Before becoming a lawyer, Sylvain worked for the International Red Cross in Niger and the Uganda human rights commission in Kampala, Uganda.
