Taaj Viljoen specialises in mergers and acquisitions. Her experience includes advising private and publicly listed companies, in relation to asset and share acquisitions and disposals, property lease agreements, loan agreements and services agreements. She has experience in drafting companies' constitutional documents, including memoranda of incorporation and shareholders' agreements. She also has experience in conducting and project managing due diligence investigations.​
