Alexandra has expertise in a wide range of cross-border transactions (in various African countries), international banking, multi-jurisdictional banking and project finance as she has advised clients on limited recourse project financings (including energy, resources and infrastructure financings), equity investments, partnerships and joint ventures and syndicated and term loans. Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, Alexandra worked for Linklaters LLP in their London, Berlin, Bangkok and Singapore offices. In 2011, Alexandra was seconded to the investment banking legal team of ABSA Capital (a division of ABSA Bank Ltd) for three months where she gained valuable experience in the debt capital market sector as well as in structured and secured lending transactions. Her expertise extends to general commercial law, asset finance, mergers and acquisitions and renewable energy projects. Alexandra is currently advising a number of participants in the various phases of the South African Government's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers (REIPP) Procurement Programme.
