Furio is a Partner in the Maritime group. Furio has a broad practice across the shipping sector with a particular focus on financial transactions, loan agreements, sale & leaseback, security packages, restructuring and insolvency, NPLs, workouts and derivatives. His experience also includes handling disputes and claims relating to all types of charterparties and bills of lading as well as insurance policy disputes, arrest and sale and purchase of vessels and enforcement of securities. He regularly advises leading domestic and international shipowners, banks and other financial institutions and insurance companies. Furio is regularly recognised as one of Italy’s leading shipping finance and restructuring and insolvency lawyers by both domestic publications and research bodies (Legalcommunity, Le Fonti) and international legal directories (Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA, IFLR 1000).
