Carolin Woggon is a partner in the Corporate group. Carolin specialises in M&A transactions, joint ventures and project development transactions, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Recent transactions include strategic M&A deals in the energy and infrastructure sector, such as the acquisition and financing of onshore and offshore wind farms, photovoltaic and geothermal energy projects as well as the development of wind farm projects in Germany and other European countries, the acquisition and sale of photovoltaic plants in Germany as well as joint ventures of German and Swiss utilities in relation to renewable energy projects. She also advises on the structuring of project contracts (construction agreements, management agreements and maintenance agreements) in the onshore and offshore energy sector and cleantech projects as well as on industrial real estate (including logistics). Her clients include financial investors, utilities, banks and project developers. She has been recognised as one of “The Best Lawyers in Germany” in the field of Energy Law by Best Lawyers in cooperation with the business magazine Handelsblatt.
