Verena Scheibe specialises in tax matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint venture transactions with an emphasis on national & cross-border tax structuring and tax due diligence work as well as tax advice on any transaction documents, both buy-side and sell-side. Throughout her career, she has worked on transactions and restructurings across a broad range of WFW’s core sectors, such as renewable energy, infrastructure, maritime and aviation. Verena’s clients include all kinds of funds including PE funds, alternative investment funds (AIFs), institutional investors, financial institutions, family offices, project developers, municipal utilities companies and others, from Germany and abroad. She also has extensive experience in tax audits and other proceedings with the tax authorities.
