Sebastian Baum specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate transactions, corporate restructurings and dispute resolution. He regularly advises German and international companies as well as private equity investors on domestic and cross-border transactions. Should disputes result from such investments, Sebastian represents his clients in front of the German courts and in arbitration procedures as an experienced and skilful litigator. He has a special focus on the Real Estate sector, where he regularly acts for hotel owners and operators, residential real estate developers as well as power and infrastructure companies. Sebastian also works with the firm’s maritime experts, advising shipping companies and investors on the corporate law aspects of their transactions. Another significant element of Sebastian’s client base are service providers, especially in the IT sector.
