Katja Schott Morgenroth is a partner at Walder Wyss. She advises her clients on matters concerning corporate law, real estate and construction law as well as matrimonial law and inheritance law. She also works as a notary in these areas. In addition, Katja Schott attends notarisations in accordance with German law. Clients appreciate her in-depth knowledge and her efficient, solution-oriented approach. Katja Schott sits on several boards of directors and foundation boards. Katja Schott, born in 1977, studied at the University of St. Gallen, graduating with a law degree in 2001, and was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Zurich in 2004. She also became a licensed notary of the Canton of Basel-Stadt in 2013. Before joining Walder Wyss, Katja Schott worked first at a medium-sized law firm in Basel (since 2011 as partner) and then as a partner in a leading Swiss corporate law firm (2016). Katja Schott practises in German and English and performs notarisations in French and Spanish in addition to these languages. She is listed in the register of lawyers for the Canton of Basel-Stadt where she is also authorised as a notary.
