Andre Kuhn is a partner in the Transaction Team of Walder Wyss. His practice focuses on real estate, corporate and contract law. In the real estate sector, he regularly advises on real estate transactions, real estate investment structures, real estate development projects, tenancy law, public law restrictions (e.g., Lex Koller) and regulatory aspects relating to Swiss investment foundations (Anlagestiftungen). In addition, André Kuhn supports clients with respect to all corporate law aspects, financing rounds, shareholders’ agreements, corporate reorganisations and commercial contracts. He also acts as a notary in his areas of expertise. Born in 1985, André Kuhn studied law at the University of Berne (Bachelor of Law 2007, Master of Law 2008), was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2010 and as a notary in the canton of Berne in 2019. He obtained a doctorate law degree (Dr. iur.) from the University of Berne with a doctoral thesis on the financing of real estate development projects by Swiss investment foundations. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, André Kuhn worked for a leading international business law firm in Zurich, first as a trainee lawyer and afterwards as a lawyer for several years. Andre Kuhn's professional languages are German and English. He is registered with the Berne Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland. He is also registered with the Notary’s Registry of the canton of Berne.
